PC gaming will stay as a home based tool for all sorts of activities/work with max performance.
I personally do enjoy the concept of consoles but I also see that they dont need to exist if and only if a tablet can beat it. Then we can just carry around our tablet/game-console to our friends and play there etc etc the possibilities are amazing to think of.
So yea console atm do provide a reason to exist only till the time comes when a tablet beats its performa...

Lol the R9-290X is NO USE for ppl using software that needs CUDA.
In my field of work I need as much cuda as can be supplied. All softwares we use make very good advantage of it. Lol 96 cuda cores on my laptop cut down rendering time of a feature film from 9 hrs to 2hrs 47 or so. Also general workflow time is so much more improved. Imagine what 2500+ cuda cores can do along with the general beast like performance of the card.

I have participated in better betas that were months away from release and the games performed way better.
Well if dice wants to test out bugs, glitches, multiplayer issues etc atleast have the game run right.
BF3 Aplha played better than this Beta which is so close to release. Im not buying the game, cant believe I almost pre-ordered. Will wait it out till the millions of ppl beta test it out till next year maybe.
I play a LOT of betas. Have been in many unheard of ones too. Most betas actually play quite well even though they are sometimes glitchy and have quite a few bugs but general performance is good. Alpha stages are something else.
But seriously this feels like a worse version of Firefall's first alpha stage. I dont think BF4 is at Alpha stage. BF3 Alpha I have played and it ran pretty well, albeit with some bugs but it atleast ran well almost 60fps all the time. This barely...
Windows 8 is the best touch based os today. I have used it so I know. Its not bad with kb/m once you get used to it.
Eventually I will switch, but till then come on DICE.
Plays crap on my comp
BF3 plays smooth but this was terrible. Everything set to lowest and still horrid.
I was so excited for the game but now I'm going to hold off till maybe way after release or maybe not.
