Interesting social experiment, but I think he overestimates people's interest in something like this. Surely there will be those compelled to participate, but spend $50,000 for a virtual diamond pick ax?! yeah right.
I feels like this'll be like the ending of the movie "the box," terribly disappointing. once you see it, you'll be like "really?!"

if you're refering to issues of lag or quality of gameplay, I certainly see these more as tech demos really, but evidence of tech should inevitably lead to potential enhancements and further refinement, atleast Id hope so. regarding exclusivity, I'm sure more devices than the vita would be able to do similar functions as far as streaming games remotely, but until said devices have improved controls, I think playing something like l4d on a touchscreen only device would prove difficult....
my mind is blown as well. i think it's pretty obvious that Sony is under-utilizing the vita's potential at the moment, but if the gamer/dev community keeps up with the crafty cracks showing ps3 games playable on vita and now computer games playable on vita, i think they'll eventually get off their butts and realize the possibilities for this handheld device. im super stoked to see what other folks will come up with next!

are you sure twisted metal (ps3) and not the twisted metal 2(ps one) they showed in reference to vita? [see attached image]
not trying to stomp on anyone dreams here, but i do wanna help clear the air if possible. I could certainly understand the confusion during the time when jack was talking about 60 new vita titles and ps one games coming to the system. I hope Im wrong, the more new vita games, the better as far as Im concerned.
there were 3 "stealth" kills shown in the latest trailer:
1) aerial stealth kill coming down one footed on his sword
2) common behind the back stab
3) he sliced the guy in half from behind the pillar
there was atleast an inkling of stealth
if you remember, the original was supposed to emphasize stealth but also a sense of hunting your opponents. rising was supposed to be about ultimately engaging and dispatching your prey. me...

thats not true. if you watch the 20+ mins revengeance documentary, kojima cleary states that "Tamari" who works at kojima productions is in charge of writing the story for the collaborative title with "input" from the platinum games directors. Before that part, what I assume is Tamari (the japanese guy with the fro lookin hair do) states that the decision to change what time the story took place was made by himself and the konami staff, saying "they had a meeting"...
not the case at all. i have all the games id want already given the available options. 12 vita games & ive beaten them all so now i need something more. but thats not the problem i have. its when i go looking at amazon or gamestop to see whats on the horizon and it's the same games that were there when I bought the system on feb 22nd.
with the announcement of a new god a war and bs battle royale with no mentions at all of the vita, the last thing sony needs right now ...

This is great! There's over 70 full length movies, ranging from a few years old to 20+ year old classics! Kung Fu, anime, even total trash--it's got something for everyone! With the redux, playstation home has added a texas hold em space (in addition to other great crap I don't really care about), a sports bar with AP news channel and now this?! Now there's actually good reasons to use home more often!

They've shown almost twice as many street fighter characters than tekken characters to date. I just hope that means this is a jam packed game & not one sided.
