No...it dosent, if Dead Space, a new IP this gen can do an updated horror game then RE should of been able to. They nearly had it in RE4 all that was really needed was more horror but they did a totaly u turn with RE5.
God I hate people who think RE needs to go action based, if you want action go play every other action game this gen....sheesh

Yeah but the "Final Mix" thing only happens in Japan and even then it's long after the games release. In fact it's not too differen't from games getting a GOTY edition over here....least with games such as KH Final Mix the content are brand new and you get to play everything together in one go. Then theres the fact that the content wasn't anything which was going to be added to the overall games story, which would be a p*ss take if you already thought you've unde...
It's funny that with so many fustrated gamers that when someone comes on the stage, take Gabe Newell at E3 when he announced Portal 2 no one shouted out anything about HL3 or when Microsft showed off Kinect Disneyland at somewhere like E3 people applauded.

A FF10 HD remake, a FF6 3DS remake.....are Square trying to ignore FF7 completly. I understand that they've said a FF7 remake is hard to do but come on, don't hold off on a fan requested thing for years then go a head and do remakes of other games instead....thats mean.
I don't think they should stop altogether, just stop letting people who have no idea about video games write the script or direct it.
Paul W.S Anderson might go on all the time how he's a gamer and loves RE but to be honest I don't think he's played them. I just hated how arragant he's become, yeah become big at the box office but have you saw the reviews, their laughing at you. Oh and the worst part is when he says (and Milia) that they are doing justice ...

I'm just saying it's cheaper for Capcom to pay these guys to do this type of game rather then a big name developer because SlantSix are no names and produced the worst SOCOM game to date.
Why....a crappy looking SlantSix title which has only been been to make Capcom some quick money....with RE6 I bet Capcom don't care it fails or not. Thats probably why they got SlantSix to work on it in the first place and they were probably cheap aswell.
The only reason I thought they made the game was so they could seperate action from the horror in the RE games, that they go back to horror in the main RE titles but still cater to the action crowd in some way......obvio...
I canceled mine once they changed it, I don't honestly know why they had to change it in the first place. For someone like me not having the chance to play on them with the Ultimite edition having a code for the PS1 version, HD remakes of 2/3, peace walker and including a copy of MGS4 it was a great bundle....
I think this could be a long way off still, however I have waited for a while untill the 3DS gets a slimmer version which I bet will have the added analouge stick on. I was thinking it could be announced at this years E3, but with the Wii U being shown off more...is it likely or not ?
They should of done that...all they would of needed to do is just change a few things round.
Change the characters to Leon and Jill/Claire/Rebbeca and just have those two on the boat. No pointless characters like Parker...or Jessica just Leon and his partner.
I wonder if we'll ever get a RE game where it's just Chris and Jill together. Even in the first RE, Jill had Barry and Chris had Rebbeca.

I would aswell, the online could of been amazing in the sequel....Tediz vs Squirrels, vehicle combat, large open maps....it was great, but obviously it won't happen since MS don't seem to care about Conker since they made Rare cancel it when they bought them.
So many things they could do but it's like they don't even care...and thats the sad part about all this. Instead of just jumping ship and enjoy the support Sony are putting out for us they'd rather co...

Want your core gaming fix, buy a PS3 and enjoy all the titles you've missed from them over the years. That will keep you going for a while. All this fanboy stuff just makes you miss out of most of the great franchises and new IPs this gen

Seriously I don't understand why developers with amazing franchises which have massive fanbases don't have online shops selling replicas or other stuff from the game. You know how much money they would make
Bethesda is one of them and NaughtyDog should also do one, having a replica of Drakes/Sir Francis Drakes journal, Lithographs of Elena Fisher ;) and maybe even a replica of Drakes handgun.
No one is a crybaby for being worried if a game franchise is being ruined by the developer.

RE was never a horror game....thats a load of bullcrap. It was always known as the "world of the survival horror" and in those days it was known as one of the best horror games around.
Oh it has a grenade launcher in so it's not a horror.....what a silly excuse. You hardly had any ammo for it for it's not like your could go on a shooting spree.
