For remakes they have years, maybe a decade worth of games to remake in the RE mainline, but continuing the actual story.. I feel like some of the old cast need to die, bring a little more danger, maybe revive Wesker because they simply can't top the fella. Resident Evil will never die, it's gamings werewolf or.. zombie, it'll never cease to be popular like Halloween!
The original REmake for GameCube is still the greatest horror game ever made, if not the greatest remake of all time. Resident Evil 2 is a close second mind you, hoping Resi 5 gets the remake treatment!
I've finished it from launch day and literally have my full playthrough uploaded and rendering in HD on YouTube.. mind you, I only did a few side missions which are big stories on their own. Take your time, don't rush it like I did.
Finished mine two days ago, it's a genuine thrill when you spend £60 on a video-game and feel you got your money's worth and then some. Which is RARE nowadays. It's worth it's price tag, that was my main worry going in, you're in for a treat if you're interested in anyway.
Gamers are mental lol, the game is apparently God tier, one weird review shouldn't bother people. We really do have some mentally disturbed folks within our community, that feel a little to deeply about video-games and console wars etc.
Medical or therapy is needed, only issue is the internet is very anonymous.. hope whomever the person is gets the help they need.

Maaan, I don't know how to feel about it, I doubt they'd care enough for the multiple endings depending on how you heal, treat Maria, etc! gameplay was never the focus for SH2, so they have that advantage I guess if true! make it beautifully grim.
What's weird is there's zero Xbox mention? you'd think they would want it on all platforms for profits sake, I wonder if Sony has a hand in any or all of these.. bizzare!
By the gods, I hope Blooper team aren't touching Silent Hill 2, the other Silent Hill is supposed to be helmed by the OG SH developers so that's the one I wanna see!

Actually, Konami did Portable Ops without Kojima, it was great! so there is potential there, and that's highly assuming any talented folks from old KP are still there.. I'm trying to be optimistic haha! Metal Gear is my favourite franchise man.
I can't tell if it's just me, but I played the original again recently and it holds up! graphically surprisingly too, not super sure if this is a day one for me, but it's definitely getting bought at some point. Hold off that RE4 Remake anticipation!
.. Not worth full price for me, especially since the MP is Thanos snapped which was the funnest part of the game. Looks clean though! new folks should have a good time.

I'm a horror guy if you couldn't tell by my profile pic, Resident Evil 4 is a superior game/series imo! and hell yes I am excited for RE4R! I don't know anyone who isn't honestly, The Last of Us 1's multiplayer is the steal, especially if you know the story already, like I said I've had 300+ hours into the MP, charging a price like they are? boy they better be adding MP or it's waiting till it's half price that'...
Infamously stupid log in crap.. I remember it well! I remember the hype for Survival Wednesdays too! when those servers were finally shut the closest to MGO I could get was TLOU which was brutally tactical like MGO!

If it also has the dope multiplayer the original had with all the graphical and gameplay enchancements, then it's arguable that it's worth while at full price, spent like 300 hours in the original games MP! something had to fill that MGO gap!
Personally? I hope they go with a more horror route like they did with RE2R, and some changes to the story, additional scenarios etc would be beyond welcome, maybe.. add in some cut RE4 beta content other than the glorious outfits!
I think the original will always be there, so why not go heavy into a survival horror RE4?
Trying my best not to look at ANYTHING RE4R.. it's getting very difficult! Rain issues? whatever it is it'll be fixed by the time it releases surely.
