Interesting.. still not happy about the episode approach, at all man, may wait till the whole thing is bundled into a package.
I wouldn't class TLOU as a horror game, I was never scared at any point of the game, I was more disturbed by the idea of a few things brought up but other than that no scares.
Great Halloween game? not really, you wouldn't class "The Road" as a horror book to read on Halloween, try Resident Evil Remake, or Silent Hill 2, the old golden horrors.
PS4 version is sharper and clearer, that's fine, picking it up on PS4.
These head2head videos won't do that much these days, we know PS4 versions of games will be superior or bang on equal to the Xbox One, stronger hardware does wonders.
I'd prefer Ash from the Evil Dead, he has the dark humour, the hair cut, and the look.
Getting this, the good reviews out perform the bad ones, just like Alien Isolation.
"As close to old-school Resident Evil as a modern, big-budget game is likely to get."
Sums up all the reviews thus far, picking it up Friday.
Read a few reviews now, it's difficult, punishing, very few supplies to survive, and it amplifies the enemies which are very creative and very fresh, and adding a new spin on the horror cliche's, bit of a boring main character and lack lackluster ending, verdict? worth the cash.
Picking this up on Friday, think of it as the proper sequel to Resi Evil 4.
Nope Nope Nope.
Resident Evil and movies or television just doesn't work, the only thing they could do is something akin to The Walking Dead, and we don't need a replica.
Damned broadcasters and Hollywood are truly running out of ideas.
2015
Just you wait and see.
The big shot reviewers seemed to be quite hasty when reviewing this, every user or non main stream gaming website has given it brilliant scores, just goes to show you, user reviews are the way to go these days.
Good reviews thus far, quite surprised by this.. I was getting less and less interested the more I saw, seems I may be judging to harshly from the gameplay and trailers I've seen.
Aye, I think I'll pick it up.
Like a well known hooker.
Good job Sony.
(-_-)'
Really, this is what developers will now stoop to?
Fine, let the exclusives show of the extra power.
MGS5, Bloodborne and The Order, guess who will be eating noodles that entire month.
Last years VGX although unforgivable, would gain some ground for doing this.
Here's an idea, announce an Uncharted collection for PS4, once all three games have a platinum trophy you will gain access to a Uncharted 4 demo, kind of like the whole FF15 deal.
I'd buy that in a heart beat.
Sure is.
Prefer Gears for gore and brutality, prefer Uncharted for gameplay and storyline.
British legends, <3
Perfect for Christmas, a bundle for everyone, so no it isn't to much, this is actually what you'd be expected to do around this time of the year as a company.
Good stuff.
Demon Souls isn't hard, if you're the type to just run in to battle as expected you'll die like the rest, patience is the key to the Souls games, but Bloodbornes a bit different.. I can't say exactly how, but think more DMC paced.
Previous Souls games would demand patience, this demands the opposite AND patience at the same time, bugger knows how it'll play out.
