Mirror's Edge!! I loved it and recently rebought it.
The game is a bit like marmite, some love it, some hate it, but it is dirt cheap everywhere so you cannot go wrong and there is story mode, then the option of speedruns and time trials.
If you are looking at the lifecycle and people who don't have the rechargeable pack, lets say 360 stays till 2012 and it launched in 2005, and in 8 years worth of batteries 8x$50 for live which is 300 dollars, and however much the batteries are, and if the person likes their tech and movies add on the cost for a separate blu ray player which would be another 300 dollars, so altogether they pay about $1,000 dollars for wht they could get for around $350 with a ps3.

The rrp was £5 higher, the dlc been higher than usual, because of everybody who paid these extortionate prices now every year there will be a price hike, an activation fee and subscription. Nomore COD online for me very soon.
I think MGS5 will push PS3 to its limits, MGS4 in 2008 was mindblowing enough, if MGS5 turns out to be one of the last releases before PS4 then it would be fitting and most of us know Kojima would do as good a job as anyone maxing it out!

BTW he won't get killed off as far as I know as the game focuses on how he became a cyberninja and the period before MGS4, as at the end of MGS4 he becomes normal again and settles down no so hes not a cyberninja? So he cant die otherwise MGS4 can&#...
BUY A PS3!!!
That's like getting ripped off at a shop somewhere but going back for more when there's an alternative which is just as good or better depending on your opinion, stupid guy...
I missed out on ICO and SoTC but I hear they're epic and would love to play them.
Problems are, my PS2 isn't hooked up anymore, ICO is really expensive and after being spoiled by superb graphics the enjoyment would be
ruined.
2 Games in 1 for a low price with HD graphics, trophies, and released around the same time as The Last Guardian = profit!

I'd like to see figures for the new ps3 slim models, and new xbox360 jaspers to see if there are any changes, if the 360s are more reliable, and if the ps3s are more reliable..
Nobody would expect the wii to fail as its seen as casual gamers, casual gamers don't play as much as hardcore 360/ps3 gamers, and the console isn't even hd, so it's last gen tech...
If it ever came I'd buy it, if it didn't I wouldn't lose any sleep over it - I think most ps3 owners who don't have an xbox will agree..
If it ever comes however, the loss for xbox360 will be bigger than the gain for the ps3 as the ps3 already has plenty of great exclusives, and GeOW is one of the 360's main games.
The ps2 had loads of pirating, quite early on its lifecycle - the ps3 has been out 4 years and still no pirating.
By the time ps3 games are widely pirated, the ps4 will probably be announced..
Btw, blu rays are expensive, sometimes its cheaper to buy the game, and I don't fancy downloading 50gb, etc etc..
I buy £20 cards in the UK for about £15, so I pay only 75% of the price - e.g. a 7.99 game costs me just £6. So, therefore I find downloadable content/games cheaper on PSN compared to what my friends pay for it on XBL - the writer didn't take buying cheap PSN cards into the equation but he did take into account cheap XBL cards...
I don't know what's funnier - this super glitchy game, releasing a map pack that you pay for which is broken from the second you buy it, or the fact that hundreds of thousands of people have paid/ will pay for this garbage..
It's a movie tie in - so nobody should have any expectations... they're always rubbish...

HITMAN 5!!!!!! I've been waiting soo long for a hitman game to come out this gen, hitman blood money on my ps2 was amazing! So stealthy and different from all these other games!
I can't help but laugh @ BigTroll lighten up people, he must be feeding off you and getting such a buzz from all the people that have replied and fed the troll! just laugh it off, report and ignore him.
BFBC2 wasn't riding a hype train like MW2, and with GOW3/HeavyRain quality exclusives, and the holiday season over, and exam period arriving, these are just a few of the reasons people haven't flocked to BFBC2 on to the ps3/other platforms to some extent too. I don't have BFBC2 because I dont like big map shooters e.g. MAG/BFBC2 I prefer KZ2, but I dithced MW2 3 months ago in January, and here's another reason: all my friends are always on MW2 and since selling it I've never been able to play...
Yeah, it's allll teh Gow3's fault, not the fact that they relaunched with a completely different spin on the series, losing some hardcore fans, and tried to make it more casual friendly with the lower age rating, and then when the sales failed to meet their expectation they try milking with dlc and still don't tie up the loose ends of story!! Guess what, no sequel either - so it feels like an unfinished dilogy/trilogy!
It's so much easier to point the finger.
