Not right away... but i believe most AAA sony first partys will mainly be making games for the ps5 up to a year or 2 before it launches. Its got to be an uneasy balancing act to make sure the ps5 has games on launch but not abandon the ps4.
Plus, wasnt the last us basically one of the last ps3 exclusives to come. That was in 2013. Im not going to google but im sure 2012 wasnt a big 1st party push either as fall 2013 began a big push for ps4.

The console generation will never go 7 years again. The ps3 gen seemed to go on forever. And even after that long wait the ps4 still wasnt as powerful as we hoped. The ps3 did 720-1080p games and guess what... the ps4 did better looking 720-1080p games.

Lol another game to big screen adaptation that noone asked for. Out of all the ideas hollywood could have chosen and they chose this. Even warcraft and assasins creed bombed, i dont know what makes them think this will not bomb as well.

Its hilarious how each generation claims things are worse with every passing gen. When i was young it was the older gen saying my gen was fukt lol. The bottom line is that the newer gen will always set the new norm and how the future will be. The fact is, its going to change whether we like it or not so we either bitch and complain on deaf ears or embrace it. Things only get worse from here.

Meh... turok was great back in the day (+15 years ago) but id much rather have a new turok experience. Remakes and remasters are fine but when its a game from over 15 years ago, its lost its appeal.
It would be like remaking mario 64 or yoshis story... sure those were great games, they arent what the mass of gamers are asking for. I think it also depends on how the games are done. Hell id even venture most gamers that arent like myself that have been gaming forever, can eve...

Thats means nothing when the much cheaper and weaker ninswitch and base ps4 outsell it and have more compelling software in 2017 and 2018.

So many xbox podcasts were claiming it was going to sell out and be the top selling console from here on out. The x really needed to be 399 at launch and 349 the next fall. Im hoping it sees pricedrops as fast as the xb1s so i can pick one up. Im just not willing to spend more than 349.
Yeah the ninswitch isnt even a year old yet so was expected, and the ps4 and xb1 are finally starting to be priced at that sweet spot of 199-249. This holiday when the 8th gen consoles get a firm pricedrop of 199 should be the year where many whom where still on the fence snatch one up. If the switch ever drops to 249 i forsee switches being sold out all over again and esp if its packed with a game.
There is very high expectations but with ND's pedigree and track record, i have no worries that TLOU2 will at the very least be as amazing as the first. ND have a way of making the 2nd installment of a series much better than the 1st. Plus, TLOU came out at the tail end off the ps3's life cycle and considered by many its swan song. Game mechanics and story telling have changed a bit since then so we should be in for a treat.
I think overall TLOU2 will be a better Naughty Dog game than UC4. They really have noone else to compete with but themselves in this genre. Hopefully this year at E3 we will finally get some gameplay and a solid release date. Who here remembers when they showed off UC2 with that epic E3 trailer and then showed a launch of that fall? I still believe this fall is too soon for a release but it would be a nice suprise. Im thinking more in line with a 2019 window anywhere from spring-fall.
Zelda botw is very deserving of the award. Im actually suprised Mario Odyysey wasnt up there as well next to Zelda. Now, i hope at this years E3 we get more info on Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon! My life will be complete!
