i agree with most of what you said except for the part about
PSN being on par with LIVE. maybe you don't have LIVE, but man they are far from being the same thing. believe me, PSN is OK for what it is, but it is no LIVE for sure!! i have no problem paying to host private to public games with 2-24 people for $50. is there lag? sometimes yes, most of the time no. if PS3 had LIVE, i would be playing PS3 alot more to be sure. just can't get hooked up with all of my friends on PSN....

thats 100 million pounds not dollars. still below $1.3 billion to be sure, but what is the ratio to the overall revenue? i'm guessing MS had a much bigger PROFIT for the quarter. another point to remember, no company likes to lose money. what do people use now? i know PS3 has has some great multiplayer action! kinda of confused about some of these comments concerning need for headset. isn't it hard to play a game like Resistance without the headset now? i'm waiting for a price drop, but i do own a 360. at times games are better without the headset(ex. 12 year old singing), but i use it most of the time just to figure out what everyone on my team is trying to do. btw, any news on price drop?
this game is making it to the store? really ugly and not very fun to play. keep a watch on this one. it will be $40 in two weeks. the only thing that will save this game is if there are easy achievements. achievement whores might buy this just for the points!

after playing the demo, i'm out when it comes to this "game." didn't somebody in quality control say, "if we release this demo, we'll probably lose 80% of our sales?" i was seriously looking forward to playing this until i saw that demo. man that thing is ugly!

i was really tossed at which console to buy. went with the 360 because of 1) price 2)GOW. now i can see that MS is really, really, really in this for the long haul. everyday i read news that makes me more and more proud to be a Xbox owner. thanx MS for fighting the fight!
i agree. i just get tired of the apples to oranges comparisons. Vick's actions compared to what we do to survive is just not a good comparison. a person being killed during a crime can't be compared to a person killed during war in a battle, even though both situations involve a person being killed. to kill for sport(IMO even hunting), just to see something die is disgusting. maybe its because i've seen my fair share of what killing looks like. not real sure. back to the point. i love...
