Xbox LIVE Gold is creppy hypercapitalism. If you buy a game like Battlefield or Call of Duty, over 60% of the content is in the multiplayer, and if you don't have Gold, you can't play multiplayer, so you just bought a game for about 50£ on release, and you can't enjoy the entire game if you not buy Gold.
I agree. PS Plus has way better offerings and Steam, which is totally free, will begin their summer sale on this Thursday, and Steam's summer sale usually rapes peoples wallets.

Thanks to PC gaming we have indie developers, thanks to PC gaming we have modders which makes games betyer and expand the games for free. Have consoles DayZ? No.

I live in Norway, and here I need to pay 50£ for 1 year with plus, and 65£ for 1 year with Xbox LIVE. We don't get ANY of the services the US get with Xbox LIVE and the only thing I do with Xbox LIVE is checking out new demos which isn't available on PS Store yet and trying/buying new Aracde games, I almost never play online. Xbox used to be an insanely good gaming plattform with a lot of good core games, now it's far from that, now it's only Gears, Halo, Fable, Kinect shit and multimedia.
