because it was already a really good controller no need for reinventing the wheel just refinements and some new stuff like rumble triggers just like sony with the DS1 and DS2 but the DS3 was old hat and it was not cutting last gen thats why they changed it up for the DS4 making it bigger, and by adding concave sticks and trigger buttons to match the the 360 controller and then they added some new stiff like a touch pad and the lightbar.

im still not sold on gakai streaming videos is problematic and i see the same thing happening to games. Plus contrroller input lag and the fact that the quality of the video games will probably very low res just to be able to push a big amount of data among other problems. I really do hope it pans out though this could be a game changer for the game industry

the twitch demonstration of the game was awesome the possibilites are endless with what you can create there was a geomatry wars style game, a limbo style platformer, a fps shooter... really cant wait it looks so awesome!

its a personal preference i prefer xbox live cause of party chat and stuff its really an awesome feature when gaming with buddies others prefer psn because of its free or psn + because of the games you get and stuff... its all personal preference! but when it comes down to it your comparing paid versus free (not counting ps+) and it shows in the quality of the service this is why sony is going the paid route this time to improve the psn service their words not mine

prob. crackdown 3 that has been heavily hinted or the fable mmo we keep hearing about also could be a Rare game since they seem to be working on something besides kinect sports rivals and KI (on the side) also what is MS Osaka up too? or a full reveal of the Black Tusk game or the racer being developed by playground games PGR? we still have alot of announced exclsuives from the 15 we were promised since they are all from Microsoft Studios.

buy a ps4 or wii u or build a gaming pc or a ps3 or an xbox 360 or a 3ds or a vita or an ouya or a nvidia shield...etc or nothing at all If you dont want kinect then dont get an xbox one simple as that other people dont mind it or like it those people will probably buy an xbox one. Nobody is forcing you to buy anything much less "shoving down your throat" if you dont want something dont get it simple as that

rechargable batteries are definelty the way to go man i use them for my 360 pad among other things just swap batteries when drained and your good to go
