I'm hoping it's a Sony version of Super Smash Bros, but i know that's highly unlikely.

Iv'e been playing it for 2 days now and it's fine for me, i actually just bought just cause 2 and i am loving it.
BTW my internet connection from wifi is only 3mb too.

I never said all of them liked it. However out of 4 million people you would estimate at least 10% of them would of bought R3 in the first week, but that didn't happen. Stop twisting my words so people can agree with you. A lot of people that disagreed with me are probably just doing so because i may have said something negative about a PS3 exclusive sales. Well, i bought R3 on day one, and i bet the majority of people commenting here will get the game second hand.

Why you guys are getting disagrees is beyond me.
Seeing as the first Gears sold approximately 6 million and the first Resistance sold around 4 million, you would think that R3 would have a bigger fan base than it does now. IMO it looks to be down to marketing the game.
Talk about exaggerating, i really hate all the trash talk that some gamers are giving R3. The campaign is by far the best in the series, and the multiplayer is great. The framerate drop has been pretty much fixed, and even before it was, it was just a little problem.
Both R3 and Gears 3 are great games yet gears sold 10x more than R3 in the first week. Maybe its due to how they marketed each game, or maybe because R2 was such a disappointment to many gamers it put many people off R3.
I heard R3 wasn't really advertised in USA, but here in the UK i would see advertisements everywhere. TV, newspaper, billboards, bustops. Honestly i haven't seen a PS3 game advertised this much in the UK in years.

I think the main reason people are disliking it is due to the song, which i have no problem with (pun intended).
If you like getting trophies online, i would recommend MAG.
I recently got a 360 and i bought gears 1&2. I found gears 1 fun for a bit before it got really repetitive, so i didn't even finish the story. Gears 2 however i found better, and although towards the end i was just hoping the game would end, overall i thought the game was good, but highly overrated. On the other hand i found halo reach a lot of fun, as well as forza. I am yet to get Alan wake, but if you are going to get a 360 for exclusives, i suggest getting halo reach & forza. ...
I honestly can't tell, maybe you are a pc gamer and can tell these things, but IMO i would much rather sacrifice the resolution if the graphics get better.
Strangely they gave fable 2 10/10... Other than that eurogamer are one of my favourite review websites.
I disagree, although the story itself isn't great, the actual gameplay is amazing. I haven't played a fps campaign as good as this one in years. It was a bit short however with thenew weapon leveling system there is a some replayability.
And about the online, besides the small lag problem, it is brilliant. It is similar to resistance fall of man, which is a good thing. Ive already played 3 hours online, i don't know how you can call the game generic, IMO there is no game l...
I still don't see where it says its only a tech demo and not a game.
Im playing right now on PS3 and although its a buggy mess atm and graphics aren't amazing, the game is still very fun.
