I totally loved it back then on the N64. Today (Switch version) I`m really confused about the control schemes, and especially the sensitivity of the controller (look) that make the game way ALOT harder to play today than it used to be back then. (or it could just just me getting older?) - Love to see the campaigns, level designs, music, etc all over again though.. X) -For control scheme, Solitaire 1.2 + switched the left & right stick, works closest for me to he original N64 controller so...
Oh, I really missed that news. Anyway, It`s a shame that no one really cares do something with those classics.
If they want to increase their results, they could always release a Classic Tomb Raider HD remaster collection (TR 1-5) , We are all still waiting for it! ;)
Hm, maybe it could be the effect of releasing a triple-pack with Mario-games within a limited sales-date, sure puts up really good speed on people who have been sitting on the fence for a while?
Coming up next: Creator claims Celeste loves jazz-music, baking cupcakes and is a devoted rightwing republican too! LOL
Well, It`s the second-best I could hope for, since there aren`t any remakes out there of the first two titles. ;)
The earlier Square Enix rumours about the Tomb Raider Ultimate Experience (T.R.U.E) collection, for different platforms, are actually happening?
(Oh, god ,let it be T.R.U.E)
Good article that sums up well why many players lost interest in the AC series. AC II was a fantastic fun game where I loved discovering the italian renaissance world (and the music too) from the roof-tops. I personally whished they rather continued the stories with some more Ezio episodes, than rather starting all over with new less interesting caracthers (and less climbing) in a new different time era.
This got to be one of my NES-faves of all time. I`ve felt that Super Mario Bros.2 always got overshadowed by the other Mario-titles like, SMB1 & SMB3.and also the later, SM World (SNES, Yep, my next fave among the classic 2D SM-games).
SMB2 had a more diverse and a more different level design from the SMB1, ,and a bit more added RPG-feel over it than the later (and great) SMB3.
The introduction of the jack-slot machine to win level up`s etc was fun at this point. There...
I had really high hopes particular about this new SM64 re-release since it`s been one of my all time faves ever among console games, and I must admit that I was really disapointed that Nintendo did not show SM64 more love and care about this game before this release. The result was that it looks pretty rough with just some upscaled graphics in 4:3 format. (means no widescreen support)
This was just a simple lazy emulted port, and not that beautiful remaster it could have been, or sho...
a 3-D remake of the 1988 NES-version of Super Mario Bros. 2 could have been an awesome idea! :)
This article reminds me alot of the early cases about the, "dead cells/black screen issue". According to Nintendo, they claimed at the time that the screens were not broken (though they really never tried to convince or prove it further) ,so no warrenty, end of discussion!.
Btw: My own screen (in handheld mode) got black too after only 4 weeks after purchase. So my honest opionion is that Nintendo quality checks for Switch generation looks hasty/poorly compared to their for...
..ANY remaster/remake of the 1998 Metal Gear Solid game, I`m gonna be all over it!
Yeah,it definitely looks like a slow news-day with articles like this! :))
No need to get any! They really dont breathe well after you fart inside them (..after having a own meal,of course) ;)
..Hm, so after someone eating his own meal, he can also play some games too??
I must admit time has unfortunately been very rough to MSG1, but still I`m still happy to see MSG1 is finally showing up available today. (by GOG.com) -Back in the days this was a tactical stealth game that brought lot`s of WOW-factor like no other games around at the time, a really exciting story, a great mix of tactical stealth and action (who didn`t love hiding in the cardbox to avoid the patroling soldiers at the bases and sneak unseen through the ventilation shafts?)
It had sev...
SM64 was a superb mario-game at the time, and still is. I just wished Nintendo gave it some more love on the remastering process than just releasing it as an lazy emulated port in 4:3 format.
Relaxing with a bad boy??...That is one of the things that do NOT sounding relaxing! LOL
(Hopefully some law-men will be waiting for you)
Hope he`ll patch the classic style just as good looking, in 60FPS as in his great work with "Openlara". Same with the water effects also.
