i totally agree about the yogcast thing but i heard a couple of story about kickstarter project that was a possible scam or people who cancelled the project once they had the money because they didnt had enough money to continue.
In both case the guy who gave money will only "maybe" receive something as stupid as a pencil with the name of the game on it. The backers are not protected by kickstarter in anyway if the project is cancelled or if its a scam and its kinda...
kicstarter is nothing more than a platform to scam people. Mostly because kickstarter will never do anything against those rotten apple. You can email them saying its a scam and ks will tell you that they dont moderate in anyway the platform. Its fuckin stupid.
Also with ks everything is in place to take the money and run... Just look at the yogcast kickstarter and its not the only company who did something like that with kickstarter.

crowdfunding shouldnt exist at the first place. Just look at how many game asking for money on kickstarter, its just ridiculous.
Asking money on ks is just the easy way out to do a game cause at the end, they dont owe us anything except the shit you get when you pay 20$ (as an exemple)
