Yes, those numbers are very impressive.
Also, the gap is going to widen each month between 360 & PS3. There are no games releasing for PS3 that will stop the 360 from pounding out a 2+million lead for the year over the PS3.
Gears 3 will increase #'s for September
Halo CE:Anniversary will increase numbers for November.
As will the better version of MW3 360 for November.
Also, Battlefield 3 & Forza 4 for October.
Halo CE:Anniversary is going to be terrific & better than any re-release ever made & selling more than any remake ever as well.
I kind of agree with that, I hope we can turn it off in the menu or something. Halo Firefight, you dont have to have scoring on like that.
However, this is why people cant compare Uncharted 3 to Gears Of War 3; Gears 3 kills Uncharted 3.
All those improvements on an already terrific Horde Mode is amazing. Its much better than the addition of "Kickbacks" in Uncharted 3.

Also, its from the fallout of the Hacked PSN. And mediocre exclusives by SONY. SONY figures if they throw a bunch of "games" at the "wall" something will stick? No, make a good game & that will stick!
Uncharted 3 is a "Paper Champion."
It will never sell close to Gears 3, ever.
The first few months of sales is the true indicator of success for investors.

3.66 million & 4.69 million is misleading.

However, the way this online pass hurts me is; I have 2 consoles in my home. This would mean I have to pay $70 per game, as my son would play the same game in his room.
However, this wont effect me with UBI Soft as their games are so great, I usually buy 2 copies for the co-op experience with my son.

Bungie will fail, this is why:
1. PS3 fans didn't buy Mass Effect 2. For everyone that says story is important...Mass Effect is friggin IT!
2. If Bungie makes said game on the current PS3 it wont be campaign co-op online & look great. Also, have co-op as wide open as Halo. The PS3 platform hasn't shown...

343 is made of a bunch of the Bungie team. Frank O'Connor was a lead writer at Bungie. Also, much of the 343 staff has worked on Halo projects in the past.
Halo 4 & its future will be fine.

I agree, sometimes remixes are fantastic. However, I only trust R-Kelly & LL Cool J when it comes to remixes, I hope these people are great with it & dont change the sound much.

Resistance 3 isn't going to sell because its going to sssuck like Resistance 2. It has nothing to do with hype, a dev cant hype garbage once the consumer has played Resistance 2.
Dlacy13g is correct. The Halo series is absolutely magnificent. I've beaten Halo:CE more than 100 times & cant wait for Halo CE:Anniversary.
I'll have 2 copies day 1 for the co-op. Multi-player is fine but I like the single player much better.
I even played Halo Wars because of the story, & I dont care much for RTS games.
