I've been saying the same thing. I've stopped shipping at game stop for almost 5 years. Anyone that doesn't see the greedy harm behind gamestops tactics is fooling themselves.

I must agree. This is getting ridiculous. The mic was an enormous asset to the success of the 360. I don't know what to say...
There will be a backlash waiting for SONY. SONY started this some time ago then pulled the string at the end. Great for consumers, not good for devs where their games sell less than 1mil 1st 8 weeks.

M$'s conference was pointless to the net, as its a SONY heavy crowed. Just as this biased article illustrates, I'll explain:
This article dissected the potential game releases of the XBOX ONE. Do the same for SONY after their conference and what do they have:

M$ told everyone what the conference was going to be about.
M$ showed everyone how applications were going to work: SONY didn't, SONY told everyone what they were "hoping" to achieve through Geiki. THEN, said it wouldn't be available at launch.

What if its because SONY didn't test the PS4 with the components inside that they announced. What if the specs shown at the PS4 Reveal were thrown in due to what M$ was going to announce.
Maybe that's why Polyphony Digital or other devs were shocked at the specs of 8gigs & gddr5. Now SONY must find a box and cooling system that won't burn the house down.

I'm not buying a next gen console for indie games!
I haven't purchased a game from gamestop in about 5 years because of this, I'll continue.
When I buy 3 next gen consoles November 2013, not one will come from a Gamestop. Nor, will any games or accessories. Yes, I and my friends are big supporters of gaming, Gamestops undercutting practices is a detriment to developers.
