you are spot on and I don't see the PS3 beating the 360 in 08 either.
all of your old & new regular DVD's are up-converted & looks worlds better than in a regular DVD player on my Samsung 50inch DLP 1080P TV.
They don't make a B-Ray combo (B-Ray/DVD) like they do in HD-DVD/DVD combo's.
I would never buy an HD or B-Ray only copy of a movie because I couldn't play in my SUV.
Go with the better value, stick with the regular DVD & watch a great conversion into HD.
I have 2 360's (Elite & Halo editions for my son & I) soon I will get a 3rd (for my daughter: 3 player co-op HALO 3), mostly for co-op play.
The 360 has the best games by far, its no coincidence software sales is killing the PS3 world wide & the so-called PS3 killer aps are selling like garbage.
This will continue in 2008.

When my son (2nd grade) & daughter (kindergarten) got home from school & saw the Legendary helmet on the table: the look on their faces were absolutely Priceless!
They rushed & put the Chief in their rooms, we played Halo 3 co-op through the mission for six weeks without playing another game, it was everyday Halo 3 for six weeks.
My kids were happy as hell, I didn't need the Helmet but my kids loved it to death and still do today. My daughter puts one...

but if this is true, this would be the best news since the announcement of NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA. Then the PS3 would have 2 games worth a purchase, now all they need is 1 more game to make it 3 games, then the PS3 would be worth buying for people.
8 player co-op would be something but nothing that hasn't been done on a console. GHOST RECON:AW 2: 16 player co-op is fantastic.

LBP is going to fall in place as one of the PS3's non selling AAA hyped titles.
This game should be on the Wii. This kids game will not sell on the PS3 so stop talking about this brand new POS.
There is no chance in hell the PS3 can catch the 360. People keep pumping KILLZONE 2 when KZ1 was a POS. MGS 4 got killed in sales by GTA & HALO 2, MGS is hyped like no other and watch, it will not come close to what you people think.
Also, people buy a game console to play games 1st, not watch a friggin movie.
