However, I disagree! Heavy Rain the OVERRATED title exclusive for the PS3 is going to be 3rd or further down the list behind: Mass Effect 2 & Bioshock 2. I know he mentioned Bioshock 2 but Mass Effect 2 will have a carry over that will still beat Heavy Rain for the February npd's.
I cant believe a point & click game can make a difference with all the technology dev's have today. Heavy Rain will be the 2nd dud of the year behind 1st dud MAG.
I agree with a lot of what you say. However, it is an illusion that the PS3 is more powerful than the 360, the only thing it has is storage, nothing else. I'll explain.........
It takes a lot of power to run a co-op campaign with vehicles & aircraft, also, 4 player co-op & the game is still wide open as you can go many places without the restriction of linearity.
Where are the PS3 co-op games that look like Killzone 2 & the cartoony Uncharted 2? Bord...
Most anticipated game for now goes to: Mass Effect 2, that will outsell GoW3 by a large margin. If GoW3 is a pack-in, then it may come close to Mass Effect 2 numbers.
Splinter Cell:Conviction, Bioshock 2, Fable 3, FF13, & Halo:Reach will completely destroy GoW3 sales numbers; these games & maybe a few others will outsell GoW3.
GoW3 will start with this so called "quality" hype & only the crazy fans will buy it. GoW3 will sell about 800k firs...
Two controllers would be fantastic, my son & I have been using the same controller that came with our 360's 4 years ago, something has to break soon. We play all day!
I need a 250 gig also, & of course I need the #1 or #2 game of the year.
Will be the game of the year by all standards. Also, in the month of its release, it will move at least 500k consoles.
This game is going to be big, Bungies quality has and will never be in question. Reach is going to be Epic!
I hope they're not trying to be like COD MW2, I beat MW2 & most of the spec ops missions 3 or 4 days after release & haven't played it since. I've played Ghost Recon games for months on end!

Playing GoW3 & watching GoW3 is 2 different viewings. Playing GoW3 looks no where close to the beauty of a GoW3 video. Be objective & see/play the game & you'll understand quickly my point.
I'm not fooled by videos, only game play is what I pay attention to.

Co-op should be Amazing!
MAG: very overrated, no single player & no co-op is a recipe for failure in 2010! Also, this is the first game I hope to fail because I don't want it to set a precedent for devs to think we don't want a single player or co-op feature.
Heavy Rain: overrated, 2nd overrated game of 2010; people are going to be pissed when they find out they're playing an old Dragons Layer point & click game.

Look at the game as you're playing.
Do it again. Play it again. And play one more time, all the while looking at the visuals!

Halo 3:ODST- Different perspective, now you're an ODST soldier- non linear, not scripted, single player, co-op through the campaign, 3 player co-op, 4 player co-op, all co-op you can go all over the board.

dont make the top 20 because the media overrates the PS3 & its mediocre games. Uncharted 2 leads the overration of great games today!
If a game is great its going to sell, period. Uncharted 2 is a good game to most great to a few, to me, its ok & worth about $29.99.
This is funny, Halo Wars is better than that @ss game & Killzone 2 isn't better than Halo 3:ODST or MW2, also, Assassins Creed 2 destroys that game.
