Ugh and these idiots wonder why so many in the gaming community hate them. Microsoft should do some serious re-hiring with their top staff, especially PR.
It depends on how and what they do with it. I still say God of War was one of the most pointless single player to multiplayer transitions ever made.
So we basically need MS for VR to succeed? Um no, VR is doing just fine with Oculus and Sony, hell I would even argue that Oculus alone would have done the VR market just fine. There's regular gamers out there shelling out $300 for a dev kit and the public product is no where near out yet. Microsoft and Sony don't need to be involved in everything to succeed, I'm pretty sure motion control would have survived without them getting involved as well. Really not getting the point of t...
Damn a survival horror mech/FPS game with Neon Genesis Evangelion vibes would have been fantastic.
Another Playstation game rated under 9 by Polygon? How's that Microsoft funding treating you fellas.
The HL3 ordeal is similar to the Mirror's Edge 2 hope, so many years of waiting, *sigh*.
Very likely give Namco's history with licensed anime titles. Game looks pretty interesting, from what I've heard it's been scored pretty decently as well.
Can we stop reaching so hard for HL3 and either wait for announcement or move on? At this point HL3 stuff is nothing more than click bait attempts.
Why was this even in question when it was pretty obvious this was built for the PS4 at launch.
lol PC gamer one ups fanboys (from all sides).
Ubisoft Employees on a Plane should be a gaming doc. Probably a hell of a lot of stories out there, including games that got leaked but never made their way to Neogaf.
Japan would have been amazing, I wouldn't have minded the previously rumored Russia setting either tbh.
Neogaf AC plane leak strikes again!
True, at least they'll get some cash back on production. Maybe they should test a limited run and then ship what's left if it does well.
Pretty sure people with common business sense would consider it a good move. Moving it to Japan is just a waste of units for the most part, stop trying to spin every little thing into "LOL Xbox".
Are you not aware of how horribly they did with the original Xbox & Xbox 360 in that country? That's the point of the Kotaku article. Japanese gamers are pretty loyal to their home hardware, this is why Sony & Nintendo are kings there. And from my understanding most Japanese gamers aren't big on FPS & action games, which Xbox usually caters to. Titanfall is probably one of the few games that stands a chance there, given the mech concept.
I've played mobile to console ports that are clunky, because they weren't meant for a console port. Which is the point I was trying to make, don't see how that was missed.
Activision has said that it's not a straight forward movie tie in, the Cybertron series and Bay films will just share universes I think.
In fairness, this game was pushed back so bugs could be fixed, it was pushed back several times in fact. I recall the original release meaning to coincide with the premiere of last season, and then that got pushed back from March to Fall to help coincide with the game again, and it made things a bit easier for Matt & Trey,
While interesting, it's also very worrying. Augmented Reality didn't do too well on PS Vita, and the same result may be seen here, though it's a little unfair to compare Augmented on a handheld to Augmented on a console, so who knows. Looking forward to seeing what MS does here. I mean at least they're trying to be different.
