not really. 3DS doesn't have much big titles left and I am sure all 3DS big time Third Party Developers moved to the Switch. 3DS will probably be used by small Japanese developers who don't have funds for HD games.
Though there a several big games left.from Nintendo and Japanese Third Party Fire Emblem Echoes and Warriors, Shin Megami Tensei 25th Anniversary 3DS game, Dragon Quest XI and any unannounced ones.
Everything else has moved to Switch. ...

Yup but I am getting my Switch for birthday on May 17.
Probably best that I finish up Persona Q, Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven and Dragon Quest VII on my 3DS before getting it and save to get a few games along with it. Planning to get I am Setsuna, Disgaea 5 Complete and Fast Racing RMX along with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Zelda, ARMS and maybe any game that TBA that get announced for May if not then save the last one for Fire Emblem Echoes or Dragon Quest VIII for 3DS

I get that is competition in business but in the end Nintendo trying to do what Sony and Microsoft are doing but better isn't going to get them anyway neither with get Sony or Microsoft anywhere just worry and monitoring their competitors.
They had Zelda Minish Cap, Pokemon Emerald, Warioware Twisted, Mother 3, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and many other titles well after the DS came out for the GBA from 2004-2005. Once the DS sales took off it shifted focus.
Same thing will apply. They already said the 3DS will probably end in 2018.
