The only Rare game left is Goldeneye 007.
Which is owned by Nintendo. But developed by Rare but IP owned by Activision as far as I remember recently.
So they have to go through a lot of stuff. Which is why Phil brought it up.
Nintendo wouldn't choose Sony at all.
Nintendo had worked with Microsoft on DS games and now with Minecraft.
Post SNES-CDi Nintendo never even thought of dealing with Sony again and never will.

I am not sure how Nintendo will be able to pull of 30 racers online or even an F-Zero game looking like this without sacrificing many elements.
