I agree, road construction should not be in same place forever, should move from place to place over time, emergencies like car accidents, fires, shootings, theft, etc... should be going on randomly causing police, fire, ambulance to be called out and roads blocked or detours being used and buildings locked down, etc...
Just more dynamic people around and (small and big) events so the world doesn't require you for it to be active and alive. It should be reacting to itsel...
Why? When it already will have a free roam (had up to 16 players in gta4) and prob a dozen other online game modes I don't see why you would want to ruin the flow and structure of the story by having two protagonist. GTA isn't SR, get over it or find another game to play and leave GTA alone.
Double post, thanks N4G!
So guessing a little humilty and humbleness from you, does hurt you though?
I wonder why people ask questions in the comment section of an article when the answer is in the article?
Lol I am the opposite, havn't played Treyarch since W@W and currently play MW3. They both have their audiences and people who prefer their style over the other.
Its good for both games though and more blending of good ideas from both while staying unique in overall presentation. Working together from now will prob be most benificial in their effort to prepare for next gen and where they are going to take the series.
Well nice to know your another know nothing that blindly hates a game and uses it to justify the horrid state in which his preffered game of choice was released.... BFBC2 was never even fully fixed, still has problems and many issues but they stopped support less then year after it released to work on BF3. Now BF3 has even more problems out of the box and taking even longer to adress them. I just hope next time around they do things right and make a playable game without glaring issues on rel...
I very much enjoy using a variety of sound boards (humans and effects) and fail sound effects like a slow trombone or Price is Right fail music. Also having some good you just lost music like "another ones bites the dust" or "law and order" theme is fun. Got to keep it different for every group you play against to stay fresh while have fun doing it.
I hope Bowling is around for a while if he really stands by what he said in the interview. I have discussed with friends recently ideas like these especially with ELITE around now. They could take a break for year or so with each COD to get ready for next gen and support MW3 and BO2 with free content and DLC along with some other stuff for premium subscribers to add life to the game and continue to drive sales well after the hot release time periods.
It would bring faith bac...
So many other games out there with much worse online problems at and after release yet you decided to only name COD and focus on them and the publisher Activision... I guess all the others, especially those with much larger problems weren't worth mentioning???
Warhawk (I have downloadable version) and M.A.G. are two full fledged games that come to mind on PS3 that have already gone that route and BF1943 and Modern Combat: Domination are two downloadable games that have done it also. These are just games I own or have owned, sure there are some others as well.
Wow way to go and totally back up my original comment....
Guitar Hero - A gimmick from the start that appealed to a small but very active group of gamers. Never sold close to COD numbers and replayability is much much lower then COD practically requiring new games or constant DLC. Again it was a GIMMICK game and only a flavor of the year type of game, people got over it quick and moved on hence why they tried to make as much as they could while it was hot. Had ZERO to do with...
Well if you took any time to look further into the game outside of this screen shot you would know its actually taking the better levels, moves, characters and features from the first few and putting them into this remake. Its essentially a tribute to the PS1 versions that many loved and made the genre so big for a decade+.
Not everyone buys COD every year, many have interest in other games all together or stick to one COD franchise or another. Anyone who buys it every year and then complains or whines about being burnt out needs only to blame themselves and not COD.
*Face Palm* Why do people compare Guitar Hero to COD, it's 1000x worse then the constant COD vs BF moron fest that goes on everyday.
I agree and they have the money to pay for it but COD def doesn't use the idTech4 engine, it uses a heavily modified idTech3. idTech4 is only just recently became availible publically to outside developers when RAGE released.
These are only games to use idTech4
Doom 3 (2004) – id Software
Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil (2005) – Nerve Software
Quake 4 (2005) – Raven Software
Prey (2006) – Human Head Studios
Enemy Territory: ...
It's called being a "prisoner of the moment", it shows up like wild fire every time a decently known game releases. There is always a bunch of "those guys" in every review article.
http://www.callofduty.com/e... You should check this site out cause you obviously know bascially jack squat about elite outside of it having an OPTIONAL premium service and the dlc being part of that....
ELITE is a great (FREE) deal for anyone who plays COD regularly and premium service is awesome for any serious or daily players. I bet the people winning Jeeps and some of the other $100k+ wo...
That's why if you can't afford it or find it to not be worth it then you wait a while till the price comes down like most people would. Having the biggest and the best before everyone has a premium price to it, no one is forcing you to buy it at that price or ever at all.
Well I barely touched for 2-3yrs and just started playing again and while I understand the griefs and nit picking I truely love and respect the masterpiece it truely was/is, the online is still active and amongst the best at what it does even 4 years down the road. Playing right now on free roam (my personal fav mode in the game) and still just as fun as it was back in 2008.
