More gimmicks. First motion control and now VR. It won't last. It'll peak and then slowly fad away. Because you won't get everyone on board. These triple A franchises are not gonna shift all their work to VR. What we're gonna get and are already getting are tech demos disguised as games. Shallow games made around VR to showcase what VR can do. Just like motion control did back in the day. Then a high profile developer makes a game just for VR, half-assed of course because agai...
Watching the lengths people go to defend their investment is hilarious, lol. Honestly, just get both consoles. I'm not rich. In fact I'm on a tight budget and yet I own all the consoles like a true gamer. Because I know how to manage money. I mean what is this the 1992 console war? Grow up kids!
If that offended you it's your problem and not mine. Because that was never my intention.
This is important to me why? I own all the consoles and I'm a PC gamer :)
I have a PS4 and I'm getting an Xbox One now as well. Hopefully this month. There's gonna be some sweet black Friday deals but some are too sweet and will be close to impossible to get. Especially that Dell one. Traffic is gonna crash the site
This just set video games back 10 years.
In person you'll be able to tell. The 360 having 30 frames and lower plus the resolution being lower. It's gonna look more pixelated on 360. Where the Xbox One version will have sharp clarity and fluid motion.
I hope it's not more gimmicks. How we play games doesn't need improving. Making good games needs improving. So just make good games.
I'm still waiting to be blown away by current gen. Where's that moment like when I saw Bioshock for the first time or the first Assassin's Creed. When you say to yourself, that couldn't be done last gen. Still waiting...
Ugh! I have all these games. Aw well.
I can barely afford a next gen console but sure give me a 150 dollar controller. :\
It's a big one. It's The Order! I dunno. Maybe lol.
I'm not a big Halo fan and I could say how it's just another Halo game. But I do appreciate the time and effort that went into making this game. It shows and it's good to see a campaign along side multiplayer. I was afraid Halo 5 would be multiplayer only.
Remember when you bought a game and everything was already in the game. Those were the days.
For me the God Of War games had no replay value. All that kept me going through the 3 games was Kratos anger and determination for revenge. Which kept the games moving forward with a high level of badassery! Once I beat GOW3. I had reached the top of the mountain. I was spent, done and moved on. So when the forth one came along. I didn't care anymore.
That hit me right in the feels.
Well for just the low price of 50 dollars you can get weapon DLC :)
It doesn't look remarkable or nothing like the next leap or cutting edge in graphics and gameplay. It looks like just another Halo game. If that's what you want I guess you're in for a treat.
Well, does it actually work?
That's something I love about this with both consoles. The speed of the UI. Last gen both consoles had slow ass UI. Especially using the store on PS3.
