Agreed. It seems that PC games have a much longer 'life' than console games (yes, I still play UT'99).
I think developers 'create' these differences between consoles and PC's because they can earn much more money by providing DLC's on consoles than they can on PC's. It is a continuous flow of money, where-as PC gamers can mod, create and develop their own content for their games, for free.
The debate isn't about which one is better, but about the fact that publishers rather push out sequels, plus, has this genre 'war-games' really bled to death?
The gameplay would be very confusing at first, but once used to, I reckon it would add a whole new dimension to gaming.
