Does anyone remember that myth in Japan where they beleived that sony products have an internal death timer that kills the products after a certain time and that overall the Japanese view sony products as unreliable. I do not want to look for it but there is an article out there floating around about this. Maybe it is true after all.
I disagree. I worked at best buy and I also was one of the persons who changed the prices throughout the store. I can tell you by my personal experience that best buy will raise the price and say that very item is on sale. I have seen it so many times and no I do not think it is illegal.

Believe those out of stock dates. They are just a guess. I use to work at best buy and I always had to look at the screen becuase i worked in the warehouse.
Sony can pull the plug on the 160 gig whenever they feel like and best buy's system will update accordingly. As an employee it wasn't that reliable at all to follow those dates.
I suggested people not put so much tentativeness of the date in those pics. Like I said, Sony can pull the plug whenever they want.

RE5 is exclusive to the 360 also. It was presented only at M$ e3 last year.

What is the whole point of expanding if you are losing money? What they are doing is not an investment either.
You know come to think of it they are not even expanding. Expanding would mean that are making an addition to what they already have. In this case they are allocating and this is hurting them.

I am happy that there will be a price drop. This pretty much confirms it. Not to mention the supposed leaked slim ps3.
Also, it is looking like the 300-400 price point is saturated. Sales have declined year over year and are trending lower than a year ago.
In other words SOny does not have a choice.
