Exactly. I mean I liked the first game personally. If it's just an upgraded crackdown 1 I would be be hyped for the Xbox slim version. If that demonstration of the physics based destruction isn't real then don't try to hide behind explosions and quick edits, just be honest lol.
Conference was alright but I see no reason to buy a launch 1X. I can play those games on the slim.

They didn't do a good job explaining how state of decay 2 differed from the first game. I understand that they will get in depth in the next few days but it just seems awkward that you would make your reveal trailer look exactly like the first...

Seems pretty standard for the media honestly. Some left wing hack puts out a fake news piece and enters a correction a week or two later after the damage has already been done. That's why you should just ignore these morons. Nothing good comes from them.
I'm the opposite of an EA apologist, I can't stand them 90% of the time. I thought this year was better than the last few. Need for speed and battlefront 2 looked great. The new IPs could be interesting. They are saving some stuff for the big 3 I'm sure but it was an alright opener.

That one game was Zelda. It was safe because the vast majority of Nintendo fanboys are Zelda fanboys. You or I might see that as a dud but the fanbase was satisfied. "Oh they only showed one game? Who cares it was Zelda." Safe is not throwing out risky moves. Like throwing the Kinect out was not a "safe" move by Microsoft. It was risky and it ultimately failed. Psvr wasn't "safe" as another example. It's an unknown market unlike a safer bet like Zelda.

I will buy if it's good, I'm not liking the gameplay so far. The ultra slow TLOU pacing just isn't my style for games. That's more for movies in my view. I wouldn't support a game that goes against my interests just for the giggles. Not many would I imagine and asking somebody to do so is kinda pointless.
