My view is that of principle. I don’t lie out of my ass to get rid of something I don’t like. I’m not a scumbag.

If the market wants to waste money on this shit to the point it ruins games then I won’t game anymore. It’s as simple as that. I don’t have the delusional fantasy that government is the answer either. I would take shitty consumers over government regulation any day. These clowns have been trying to get their claws in gaming for decades and not only do you welcome...

Okay jack... You obviously know what’s best for the kids. Anything addictive and random is gambling. The studies have said so, change the law to confirm your biases.

It’s not gambling or cigarettes. I was against jack Thompson when he went after mature games “for the kids”. I’m against you as well.

“Blaming the victim” clown. Poor you, seeing lootboxes in a game you never bought. Your hardships must be tragic.

Because “close enough to gambling” and “actually is gambling” are two completely different things.

“close enough” is for clowns. What a joke of a statement.

Oh I see all of the brain dead comments... “ EA was so bad the government got involved”. Yeah it has nothing to do with every media outlet bombarding the gambling commissions with retarded questions and online petition mobs demanding results. The ignorance surrounding these topics is outrageous. We are now truly surrounded by dumb people.

Roll your eyes all you want but at least I’m consistent. I don’t cheer one person for doing something while condemning another for doing ...

Abomination. They act like they don’t have better shit to do. And you retards opened the door to this shit.

Not far at all. Hopefully we get to see some Odin or Loki later this week.

Yeah, EA is the reason they are involved... 🙄

R.I.P

If people didn’t buy them and they still forced the practice then that would be greed. People love to forget that millions of people buy this shit lol. Greed! Is the new buzzword I guess. Calling any business greedy is asinine, making money is the reason they exist. A business that isn’t “greedy” won’t be around for long.

Exactly lol. Projecting their own bullshit.

Yeah, the comparisons were a complete joke. When Trump got elected people went nuts. They are still going batshit crazy, it’s getting worse everyday. My favorite is the Hollywood and media meltdown. Burn baby!

@doomster
Yes exactly lol. Not just games, you can gamble with any kind of decision. The fork in the road is a gamble if you don’t know which way to go. We’re not talking about a basic definition in this context.

This stuff is nothing new either. Watch this video ( https://youtu.be/Ey--3YV6FC... ) and tell me which side you sound like. Kotaku has completely flipped roles since then lol

Don’t seek validation from them lol.. How is my logic wrong? You are trying to end the practice of trading card to “save the kids” because a “wager on an unknown outcome” is gambling and should be banned or require a license like real gambling that falls under strict gambling rules and regulations. You couldn’t care less in reality, you say it’s gambling for your own selfish reasons and are using “what about the kids” as your scapegoat. It’s obvious, admit it.

I’m using ba...

I hope not lol

You’re wrong, n1kk1 is right. Trading cards are more in violation of actual gambling regulations than loot boxes are. For the simple fact you can take rare cards and exchange them for cash. You can “cash out”. That’s how much of an asshole people like you are, you are trying to ban Pokémon cards to protect kids. Taking away their fun to satisfy your own lust for gratification while using them as a scapegoat. It’s quite sad to see.
