I can understand the criticism with this one and diversity. And I can't stand the "diversity" people. It's kind of weird to be attached to some random dice role of gender and race when you make an account. How hard is it to have 3 or 4 options for a game like this? I don't understand the reasoning behind his design other than they don't want to deal with people changing their character all of the time.
That's fine with we as long as the level doesn't look like a race car driver jacket. If the billboard is a real product instead of some made up company then I don't care. The only time I would care is a satire like GTA. They are supposed to clown these people not promote them.

Now Australia can not give a shit about the ratings system like Americans. The esrb here is an annoyance but it can be ignored for the most part. Good mature rated games will still sell. Some retailers will have a "no rated M on the shelves" policy so Devs remove content to be under that rating. Ratings boards are fairly useless organizations but like mrmagoo said, it's better than banning and book burning.
I'm not a troll. 36 people disagreeing with me doesn't invalidate my opinion. I don't care if you respond or disagree with me. After watching the most recent IGN I can see I was mistaken somewhat. There was a gun and a space fight but they didn't seem all that interesting or useful. Maybe there's a ship that has the ability to have a proper dogfight but that demo didnt show it. Any planet you go to still has the same little robot policemen.

Every game that has nothing to do is now called a "sim". My guess is to make it seem more sophisticated than it really is. Hey, you can walk around and do nothing! Its like real life!
The only way I can see this being interesting is VR support. Any "walking sim" for that matter.

Lol@people complaining about the graphics. It's a crappy YouTube video. There isn't even any sound.. The gameplay looked like gears for sure. You can tell that guy has been playing gears 2 for years.
Who do you trade with? From what I have seen they said it's rare that you would run into another person. It was basically "go here and name this planet". I haven't seen guns, dogfights or anything.
Going into orbit in real time looked pretty sick, I'll give them credit for that. That's pretty much the only thing that impressed me.
That's because people will stop playing it after 45 minutes. Is there any combat to this game? Or is it "gone home" walking simulator like all of the demos I've seen?
When I bought the 360 my first games were dead rising, condemned criminal origins, oblivion and gears of war. I don't think Microsoft will ever top that again.

I fear there will be less "hanging off of trains" and more "walking around a museum" as kid drake. Less explosions and more sentimental rubbish. The director has already admitted as much with more realistic set pieces, the seriousness of the cutscenes shown and the "controversial ending" people are meant to hate.
