I think the difference is going to start showing in gears and forza that are taking advantage of the HDR. that's another thing that made me go with the gears version instead of the stock 299. I'll upgrade when the games start taking advantage in addition to movies. I'm hoping the s controllers feel better as well.

I have had my Xbox for Over a year and I'd be getting back half of what I paid for it. That's not bad. I have the gears model so I'd have to go a few months without my Xbox though. I'm probably just going to give my old one away.
