Before Darkside was revealed the only dev that was confirmed was Yukio Futatsugi (Original PD Director)... And judging from the Kotaku articles Darkside was pretty disconnected from the majority of the project... Meaning they were mainly contracted for certain parts.
Thank god for the Magnum getting a buff. My biggest complaint from the beta was balancing issues with weapons and yes the Magnum was too weak to be viable.
