Well they've learned the hardware now. And next Halo will be built from the ground up with DX12. Simply because 343i is the one studio that utilizes all tools MS gives them.
So having Split Screen for the next Halo makes sense.
I just hope they keep 4 player AI. Because they've done such an amazing job on the enemy AI and I want them to continue improving the Co-op AI.
Easy... Just throw Casey Hudson on the project and give him a budget with a few contract studios and I could see him making an amazing RPG that tells a brilliant story.
You may want to wait for Legends before you dismiss it. I can't go into details because of the NDA but it feels a lot like the previous fables but way more potential over the years via multiple Story Arcs.
It's Destiny meets Fable with balanced PvP.
Yeah NO PETER MOLYNEUX. No over hyped BS products as a result. Legends has come a long way in the last year.
B.C would've been amazing. I still hope that Lionhead one day goes back to it. OR SOMEBODY builds a game like it.
Games like Ark: Survival Evolved are epic to play(Least on Steam it has been). But I want more and the genre to flesh out as a result.
I want a survival dino game where you play as a Caveman like in BC.
I've seen a few people go on about how boring Prometheans are. But considering the fact that they're the most tactical enemies in any of the Halo games I have to ask was it just tedious for you to chase them down?
Because me playing on Legendary I found myself doing trade offs with them and being on my toes while Covenant was just "Headshot Headshot Headshot Noob Combo Headshot".
Prometheans flank and are super aggressive, all it makes me wa...
The created are the ones who can handle the Mantle of Responsibility... And 343i are the created, Bungie created Halo. Microsoft created 343i.
343i have proven they can handle it.
I don't want to declare spoilers, but it's literally 2 all over again, I wasn't disappointed by the campaign because it's a proper villain with proper boss fights again.
Halo 2 had a cliffhanger ending with an amazing follow up because it was needed. Halo 2 had a lot of it's missions split up into two. Halo 2 had the fanbase divided between Arbiter and Chief.
But then again you thought AW had a better campaign. Clearly you're too den...
You do realize that VR is a costly thing right? When they put out the price of PSVR, it's not going to be making people open their wallets.
Wii and Kinect sold a lot because they were bundled at a cheap price and were family friendly. VR disconnects the family.
For loyalists and hardcore fans, yes VR is a massive incentive. But for the rest of the world it's just another couple hundred bucks you got to throw down after already spending the same amount...
That fight is really tricky on Legendary.
Setting up an amazing Saga with that ending but you call it the worst. I feel you played it on Easy/Normal and rushed through it.
Playing Warzone is so much fun. I've always been an 4v4 fan and love Arena.... But Spartan Abilities plus the beast pistol has made Warzone a fav.
The sandbox team should be very proud.
Indeed my friend... And that legendary ending really gets me pumped for Halo 6.
This is Halo 2 all over again. Covenant get to earth and everyone's like "WHAAAT?! I WANT TO PLAY MORE!"
Reclaimer Saga. Meaning they've got plans beyond Halo 6 for this whole plot.
As far as plot holes. There's plenty of depth if you take a moment and listen to the chatter between NPCs and the Squad.
I haven't been lost.
My buddy pre ordered at 9 EST and had it DLed in no time. Wasn't a problem with servers or anything.
May want to play it on Legendary. The waves of forces in each room keep you there for a while.
I do love the Poncho Chief concept art.
Arena/Warzone got the most praise so the replay value and sales will be fine.
But when it was confirmed that they'd do a Reclaimer SAGA. What did people expect? 4 set up 5, and 5 will set up the other one. It'll be a growing story.
I'm hopeful that Casey is working on an RPG right now. He did say that he joined MS IP Development team as CD because of Hololens and him seeing a future in that. But if MS ever makes an RPG studio he'll be right on it.
I'm pretty sure he's doing what Joe Staten is currently doing, helping games like Scalebound out.
