I hadn't though about it but after reading the article the author is right. You can find most of the stuff their offering for free elsewhere. I almost feel like they're copying most of what gamebattles offers and trying to charge people for it.

I guess it doesn't really matter when you buy the game or not considering the fact it's not going to drop down in price for a couple years lol. If your a Call of Duty fan your more than likely going to buy it.

Well that depends where were talking about. Spike TV Game of the Year awards is the one i'm talking about and don't they usually have the voting poll a month or two before the show? Maybe i'm wrong, but anyways I liked Porta 2 a lot. It was fresh and a had a great story, but I think the higher profile games are just going to be too hard to beat.
Yea the ratings are high but it's usually the public's opinion that ends up counting the most and not the critics.
How is it poorly written? It's one of the better comparisons of the two system that i've read on here and it strays away from being biased towards one console or the other. I'm surprised you even have 5 bubbles after putting a comment out like that.
Yea that's what I thought as well. I like the way the author approached the article as well and kept it as unbiased as he could.
Actually it has everything to do with MS. They are the ones who put out a faulty console. Don't get me wrong I play my 360 a bunch have pets and don't smoke and I take very good care of my electronics and it still red rings. My PS3 is right next to my 360 gets about the same amount of use and has never had a problem.

On topic: I've gone through 5 myself. I haven't bought 5 but i've gotten 3 red rings on 3 different consoles, sent them into Microsoft and bang red ring again. I finally bought the new console as well, but if the freaking thing says refurbished you'd expect it wouldn't fail again.

I wish they had ported 2142 to consoles. Tried to play it on my computer, but I only upgrade my computer every couple decades haha.
I think in the case of character development Uncharted is the winner, but for an overall storyline Gears is the winner. But each Uncharted game kinda has it's own plot to follow and Gears has followed one plot through the entire series.
