Okay blind totally denied fanboys. Here is how I honestly see it. Yes the 360 had Halo3 ONE (Count'em) small price drop, bio shock and mass effect. It also was plagued by the HUGE issue of the RROD, even with that, the 360 still sold 7.x units in 2007 (based on this dudes numbers). I think that the RROD had a bigger negative impact on the 360 than all three of those title's had as a positive impact.
Now for the PS3...There were I believe 2 price cuts, and clearance sale. (...

The SAME people are getting repeat broken xboxes. While others have two year old launch machines with no problems and others have had one launch system break on them.

If most of you can remember, when the PS3 was priced at 599.00 it sold like diseased cats. Stop tryin' to make it seem like the higher prices was something to overcome. They never overcame it, remember they lowered the price. If the PS3 was still 599.00 they would be lucky to have 2 million sold by 1 year.

I was watching a GHIII release party on TV this weekend at a best buy in Miami. As people were walking through the door, they were being asked which system and then handed the applicable box. Honestly, all I heard was 360 and wii with a very small amount of PS3s sprinkled in. But, based on what I was hearing, there were more 360 people buying this title than anything else.

I take it you failed science badly, for the plastic to start to deform, so form of melting had to take place. No one said it was dripping liquid plastic onto the floor.

I mean, look at the picture, the first thing I see is that the plastic casing has so-called melted. The second thing I see is the plastic FANS behing the plastic casing still in tact and not melted. Obviously, the heat would have had to pass through the fans and thus would have melted and ruined the fans as well.
