id pick a matchmaking system over people playing on the same server over and over again anyday.....
only time I want a server is for big multiplayer games rockn 30 people
but I like party systems and taking people into games with you and always playing new people over the ps3s stale servers anyday....but thats just me

Im hoping and thinking this may help the push for HD digital distrbution....and could be great....ah well we will see in a few more years when everything is settled and making money etc.
I wonder if that no additional cost for gold members means we can just dl whatever movies they have available whenever we want not strings attached cuz if so...hellll yea!!!! free movies to stream etc....that gold memebership looks better and better.....ah well E3 is always fun new stuff for every...

nope they just got a kick in the nuts.....it still is a blu ray player etc....and sony seems to be smart enough to make it the only smart choice if you do want a blu ray since a stand alone costs about the same...
and its does have good games coming...it is just more of a nice swift kick thats all

no matter what way you put it the thing is optional.....when you have an actual library of games...you dont want to have things like this being mandatory....so no matter what way you put it ......its optional....
no Sony just happened to come in when gaming was just starting to grow at a good pace.....and had young companies that didnt have anything to lose wanting to make games and had only 2 options the old nintendo or the playstation....and new things can be fun....
has nothing to do with how companies were treated and everything to do with the timing they entered the industry...which MS didnt have the luxury of since MS joined after sony was already an established brand and companie...
wow you really are blind....this move is great for both square and MS....helps give square more of a pull in North America...while they still can cover the other regions like europe and japan with the ps3...
if you think they paid 100 million for FF you have to be on some powerful nose candy...this franchise doesnt even sell as much as GTA games do and they only got 50 mill....

Its wasnt MS that made games and the developers the way they are now.....popularity and rising profits/costs did....

I will have to stay a lot of the new ips for this gen that are good were on 360 first or were exclusive to the 360...when a game is out 1 year before hand like Bioshock I would call that a new franchise starting out on their system as well...and well pc to...but console exclusive launch
