I laugh at how lame people are at hating on GTA4....sad enough the game was quality and was a really good game.... and did a lot more technically then most games have ever.....
But whatevs this site is the minority GTA 4 is praised by way more then this site.....

I laugh at you for not thinking that Halo didnt have an effect on FPS gaming.....
It popularized lan FPS gaming with Halo 1.....caused its own hype.....
Halo 2 popularized online FPS games for consoles......
Most FPS console games have tried to Mimic the controls and the idea of Halo as well as the matchmaking systems etc.....cough cough everyones beloved COD4's matchmaking has a lot to do with Halo....and this is shown by the horrible idea they ha...
im surprised at not having half life....or goldeneye or Halo for what they did to console FPS games....but....overall a good list

that is true....but dont bother with them cuz either they dont have the game....or its their own personal crap that is f ing up and they need to go and reset the settings in their routers oOo..........
regenerating health makes for good multiplayer in games like gears and Halo....if not it would be people hiding....
In games like Socom and Rainbow....regen is not needed they go for more realism.........
Overall it doesnt hurt the gameplay it makes it more entertaining allowing for 1 person to be able to take out 3,4,5 or maybe even 6 with good planning...
I cant wait to see what their next game engine will be like.....
its not called hiding when your playing smart....and youd be surprised its not as much hiding as it is people getting themselves prepared for a fight....
1 person vs 3 or more other people usually will always end up getting ripped apart....which is why people need to play smart.
I think the same way.....
Compared to Gears 1 the combat is way better....with sticky nades....etc....
The just need to tweak some of the mechanics.....like sometimes people bouncing around too much from a smoke grenade and sometimes people not really showing any slow down from a shot the with shotgun and still get the chainsaw....
But overall I think its a better games then gears 1....the sony fans can try and downplay the game...but if you played...
agree about the chainsaw...they need more of a delay when getting shot with the shotgun....way too many times ive shot someone up close n then bam they rev n cut me
