I have a friend in the military stationed in Korea, and when I used to play CoD with him we would play Hardcore just because he lagged.
Controllers are ruining gaming...and TVs.
Every once and a while I go back and play "old" PS3 games. Some of them are quite good. Hell, I was playing DMC4 every so often until the HD Collection came out. I think the trophies/achievements are pointless, but I won't lie and say I wasn't super happy when I got my two platinum trophies for Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.
I didn't say everyone who has a 3DS is a child, I just pointed out that the only people I (wish I could put that in italics) know that have one are kids. I'm pretty sure there are loads of non-kids that have one too. I have a Wii and a DS, not everyone that owns a Nintendo product is a kid, but most of them are.
16 million kids can't be wrong. Most everyone that has a 3DS, that I know, is under 13.
While it is selling a lot, when I came time to get my new handheld I took the time to research what was going on with the systems and the trend in their games. I didn't want to spend the $300 for a Vita, so I didn't get one. My wife, on the other hand, has no problem spending $300. So I got a Vita for my birthday.
I don't consider myself a "hardcore gamer,...
@Rockoman
I know right, Journey had soooo much guns, sex and blood. Don't even get me started on Flower, how that game didn't have an AO rating is beyond me.
@darthv72
dafuq?
The only reason I like PSN more than XBL is the type of gamers that are on PSN. It's rare, on PSN, that I get into games with kids that are yelling at their parents while playing, morons that are blasting incomprehensible music over their mics, or people calling me and my family names and insinuating that they have done horrid things to my mother. Most folks I hear playing PSN are more mature and make my gaming more enjoyable. Just my opinion.
I disagreed because I don't think the 360 controller is better. The d-pad sucks, and I don't use a controller to play new games, just older games via emulation. In that regard the 360 controller is horrible when used to play older games.
If you don't think that VI is better than VII you started playing when VII came out. There is no argument you could ever present that would prove otherwise.
lol, FF VII rabid fans to the defense.
Vin13cent you are a mistaken, Nomura is still with SE.
They probably couldn't do it, that game is sooooooo massive.
Fuck VII, they need to remake VI.
All of those games came out on PSX, you didn't have a SNES did you?
@slayorofgods
I was born in '82 I bought FFVII, with money I earned, when it came out. The only way it was better than a hand-full of other games was in the graphics.
You say its hard for people that didn't play games when VII came out to really appreciate what it did to the genre? By the same token, it's hard for kids that started playing RPGs when VII came out to fully understand what massive harm it did to RPGs.
FF VII isn't even...
FF II (I think that's what you're talking about) was a great game, but there were a shit ton of good RPGs that came out for the SNES. Robotrek was one of my favorites.
Yeah, I like how he's saying they can't do it, basically, because there is too much stuff going on in MW3. Really? They are using an engine from 2007 with some minor adjustments. I think that's their problem.
You're going to get a lot of dislikes. The people that worship VII are rabid. I gave you one agree.
Not knowing you need to have a Ring of Sacrifice the first time you meet Seath in the Duke's Archives.
