I've been a lifelong gamer, but something in the last ten years has really turned me off to more modern titles. Maybe it's the endless open worlds or the yearly Call of Duty refreshes. It just feels like something is missing with most titles today.
I really wish they would just do a Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer 2.
Maybe?
I didn't even realize GWG was still around.
But why???
I'm so sick of Live Service games. I just wish that developers would concentrate on just creating good games. Live out all the addictive bs. Just give my a compelling story, creativity and clear vision.
This is all by design. How else are they going to make that money and keep you engaged? I miss the times when it was about a great story and experience and not just trying to activate my dopamine centers and cause addiction.....
Samus Returns is one of the high points in series. I'm not sure this opinion piece is warranted. Is the author sure he wasn't thinking of Other M by Team Ninja? (which is still a pretty decent game)
It's terrible from what I've experienced. I did the trial over the weekend to try Immortals. Hot Garbage is what I played. Geforce now or Xcloud is the way to go.
It's the sword play. I like to compare it to the web swinging in Spider-Man. It just feels right.
Is it really fair to compare these??
Are people having issues with violence in this game? I mean, you cut people in half with a chainsaw in Gears of War...just saying.
I'm pretty sure that this was always going to be episodic. I'm enjoying my time in Midgar. I've played FF 7 when it first came out and it was mind blowing. The love and care that has been put into every detail this game shines through. I look forward to the next episode.
.....
Who gives a crap????? Not everything has to be so PC....
I'd rather support some of the local small business owners that actual get retro and modern gaming. Gamestop is too far out of the loop on what people are actually interested in.
