I would not be surprised if they 'delay' the launch to holiday 2017. And that the date that is currently given was to make sure that the investors had some profit to look forward to.

Just stop this secretive nonsense. How about just starting to telling us what it will be: a console, handheld, refrigerator or all of the above... No but really, by being so secretive and vague, Nintendo is only hurting itself by allowing for more and more "rumors" and "leaks" that ultimately discredit the NX.

Weird time to launch the NX, but WHY not show it at E3....
That E3 Direct apart from Zelda info, is going to be atrocious expect 5 minutes of developers talking about Mario Color Splash and showing stupid montages of people playing Mario Maker....

It has not had another significant price cut because they (nintendo) probably calculated that it would not move significantly more units, and it would therefor result in that they would take a loss per product. The Wii U is, and since last year has been basically dead (after E3 2015). Paper mario, while it is a mario title, it does not look like a big hit title, and is probably a less expensive game to produce (in comparison to other a-tier nintendo titles).

Whether we like ...

Disappointments incoming with this Direct. I HOPE that this is the last direct that will neglect the NX [Enough is enough]. The Wii U is over, it is done, there is no more room to maneuver with it (and no need). As a Wii U owner, I would be more happy to just let it go, and focus on a platform that has a new chance.

It seems that you can make the nx-news headlines with everything, it won't be long before you see this headline: Leading analysts speculates: "Nintendo NX might be one a consumer electronic product, that could launch between tomorrow and 2020; and it may feature exclusive IP's" >>> Does this confirm the NX have TONS of exclusive third parties???? >>> NX to have greatest third party support in Nintendo history!....

ALL this nonsensical specu...

People seem to forget that Nintendo is in the business of making MONEY, not charity. I feel like the NX (handheld or home console) is the last real chance that Nintendo has at a 'comeback', especially in the console market). Two 'failures' in a row does not grow the trust of consumers, nor that of the INVESTORS (and also third-parties), which are both (vital) important for a company...

I hope the NX will symbolize a turn-around that Nintendo strongly needs.

So Nintendo, it's 2016 now, give us the info we want :-p

This is okay, and I'm going to interested when they have some official information available.

HOWEVER, the price is going to be the deal breaker or maker here. This all looks great, but currently the PS4 and XBOX One are around 270-300 euro's in the Netherlands, and will have a more established game library and adopter base when the NX will launch; so I think that nintendo cannot price it anywhere close to the PS4-Xbox one, if they wish to have a chance. Because even...

I'll just wait for when some 'real' information will come out from nintendo. Since we haven't heard anything (except rumors) concretes on the project NX... Also, its not like he could say that they are doing the SAME as with the wii and WiiU...

Eh, it is things like MIITOMO, that make me doubt about Nintendo's capability (or rather the possibility) of understanding where the market is (in terms of consumer wishes).

I don't know, I'm not very optimistic for this one...
Probably spending too much time on Mario Tennis / Amiibo Ransack (Animal Crossing)/ and 3ds titles NO PERSON is waiting for (i.e. Metroid Prime Federation crap).

(Hoping for HD Zelda Remake)

Yeah right, okay, try running this analogy outside of North-America... There is nothing wrong with being confident, but this way...

I can still not wrap my head around the concept of PRE-ordering DLC... It's a digital product, of which you (most of the time) do not even know what it contains. It's beginning to become more and more grim, for we have Pre-order, Pre-order Season Passes, free-to-play style micro transactions in full price games.

I've a question DICE/EA > could you please tell us why a season pass is so cheap?

3868d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I will be interested in the price range that Nintendo will be going for. As a Wii U owner I feel kind of sad about my Wii U. Knowing that it has been disbanded by Nintendo already... (and no, I do not count 'Animal Crossing AMIIBO- harassment' as support, nor does a gamecube era looking StarFox...)

3868d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

This is absurd, however I am not surprised with this, for there will be enough people buying into the 'value' argument (that EA/DICE will no doubt come with). Just go back and look how much more content the older Battlefront games had (maps, CAMPAIGN... etc.), and you only had to pay once (60 dollars or euros).

I don't care for these kinds of games anymore, for they require a +100 dollar/euro investment before you can get any kind of 'full' experience.

3868d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes they were 'bad', however it is clearly a 'sarcastically toned' article, and you should not take it seriously...
