As much as people dislike ign, they're pretty much the most known gaming review site so people kind of have no choice but to take them into account.

If there are enough consumers, then there is a market.
Of course there has to be a good and evil side. All they need to do is add more things that actually has different outcomes on the world based on decisions of good and evil.
I've tried(turn based final fantasy and modern final fantasy) but most Japanese games are hard to get into(monster hunter & naruto are great). I see why xbox players never cared about this exclusivity. They're like coffee or liquor, you need to build a taste for them.

Dialogue has never even been something that makes or breaks a game. A lot of games never even had it and it's in most now for realism. Even then companies like Nintendo will add dialogue and not even take it serious💀
