I'm a stick player myself, but you also need to realise that some top players in the Fighting Game scene are pad players, Like CidKid and Denkai over at VFDC, these guys have won countless tournaments and stuff. Is tough to beat Adam Yuki, but CidKid manage to do it last year at WCG east, but lost at the Nationals.
Same could be said for top Tekken Players as well, you see them getting down at Final Round a few years ago, and you'll see those pad players, come in full force when...
Is still not back on for me. I want to play BlazBlue online:)
BlazBlue is no joke, been playing it for over 2 months at ChinaTown Fair NYC. The game has a very solid engine in place. People who turtle in this game get punish. The damsge scaling and replenish health system, makes the player not focus on long combos and such. KOF on the other hand needs a damage scaling system, the damage you could do with a CC attack is INSANE! 60-70% Damage guarantee(Of course in the right hands)But, still a good fighter as well.
When GT5 drops, is going to sell 5+million copies worldwide easily. This is the ONLY franchise from SONY that puts numbers like that. GT5P Sold 3mil+, Imagine when GT5 drops. And with the addition of Nascar and WRC, this franchise is going to expand their user base. As Clinto put it, this is SONY's Halo when it comes to sales.

Thank you:) I just wish people who publish this type of stories will actually do research in the community and all. Like the reason why top US players rock sticks(Square gates, Japanese Arcade Stander).....three words, Super Battle Oprea. Every year, people compete for the SBO qualifiers in Dengi Arcade in Cali, and get a chance to repersent the USA in Japan. If SBO rocked console versions of the games being hosted, you'll see more pad players, in high level play.
