Why would anyone want this? It would be such a waste of ND's time and talent. Nostalgia isn't a good reason.
I have an HDMI outlet that goes from my computer room to my media room then onto my TV. So yeah if I was sitting in front of my PC it wouldn't matter, but if I was sitting in front of my PC I wouldn't be using a controller in the first place.
I am and fully intend to buy one once wireless becomes available.

What exactly is a "AAA" game to you? Pretty graphics? Can't be gameplay quality otherwise you would love indie games.
Yeah Vita is already a really solid device with a ton of games. That is if you are willing to expand your horizons beyond one genre.
So? They have grown since then. You can't sit there and say Crash is the same quality as Uncharted or The Last of Us. That's like saying to a car company go back and make a model T because without that you wouldn't have the cars of today.
