Agreed , I love elden ring and I will still love it BUT I love the atmosphere and soundtrack in Dark souls & bloodborn much more and I agree with you again I hope they keep the open world aspect to Elden Ring and it's sequels and if they make Dark Souls 4 or Bloodborne 2 return to the linear design

Not all of them for example I like dishonored , Bioshock and metro but microsoft first person games not reach the quality of these games in my opinion .
