I agree that if COD4 Mulitplayer is your thing than 60 bucks is worth it. I bout GTA 4 and feel like I am getting my moneys worth. I like to buy Madden for online. I just think that if a game is not going to have online then it should have a story with some length or sometime type of replay factor warranting a purchase of $60

Thats it. How long is the game supposed to be? If its another 12 hour game I would not pay 60 bucks. I am so happy I bought PS3 recently rather than earlier. If I paid 60 bucks for Heavenly Sword, and Uncharted I would have been pissed. Both are awesome games, but for 60 bucks everyone should really just start renting this "good games". Maybe it would send a signal to developers that people will only pay 60 bucks when they get a game that has some mileage along with it.

I just went out and returned it for a new copy. And now it works just fine. If this happens to anyone else just go get a new copy before the manufactures warranty is up. (7 days is all you get) and then get the stores extended warranty just in case you have a new problem.

I had the same thing happen with VC. The more and more you use the cheats the more crap will happen to the game. If you use them non stop it will ruin the game. If you use them only when you really need them the end will turn out fine.
I work full time, I go to college, I am a husband and a father. With some games I use cheats to help me beat it quicker. Often I rent my games and have to have them back in a week. So if this means I suck. THEN I SUCK. But at least I still have time to progress in my personal life and get laid at night.

Maybe they support it because the industry jacked prices up this gen. A ten dollar hike per game is horrible. Or maybe because not everyone can afford the game. There are many reasons people pirate. They are horny, daring, poor, rich and greedy, tight wads, etc. The game industry makes a ton of money. As for Microsoft, even this quarter as the games div. has made a profit, you could take all that money and burn it and it still would not make a dent in Microsoft's bottom line.
I would think that frame rate issues would be far more detrimental to gameplay in Madden. Than it would be to GTA.

At first I was a little disappointed. That is, until I started exploring the city further. Walking around liberty city drunk is awesome. Explosions are awesome. The driving was pissing me off at first, but now I have it down. Also I am thankful for the driving. I never used to play games like GT, and Forza because I hated the "realistic" controls. Now I am looking forward to trying these games out again. Online is awesome by the way. Cops and crooks rules!!!
