I think a sequel could actually work pretty well into the story. If you choose the evil ending in DS, you become the new arch-demon, and you'd be the main antagonist in the sequel. The leveling system would have to be different though, since the Maiden in Black would be dead.
I'm liking the Gamespot GotY awards, they actually seem to have an opinion instead of jumping on the bandwagon. I kind of figured they would give DS the GotY award, and I think it deserves the publicity. That game can never sell the amount that it deserves to sell.
It's still a crappy Gears clone. It sounded cool when I first heard about it, but after seeing it in action for the first time I lost all interest. The enemy design is generic and uninteresting, the weapons aren't particularly cool. But worst of all is that everything looks exactly the same! The environment, enemies, weapons, and characters all look like they're made out of the same freaking material. Oh yea, and the story looks pretty bad too.

If they go back to the old style of gameplay, or better yet give it the same pace as the old games and better gameplay, I will buy it. If it's anything like the last two I will be saddened because my favorite franchise of all time will be dead to me.
I'm not too fond of the looks of the mech design, it almost gives off a SRW vibe. although, going by the strangeness and complexity of the AC, it might have a more free form customization like Chromehounds, which would be sweet. Not ...
