MS can lose money every year on the xbox for a long time and not hurt since Windows/Office are the bread and butter of the company.
But the question is investors complaining on the future of the game division which will be fighting Nintendo and Sony who (in my opinion) will not go anywhere for a long time.
Either way, MS is a money machine with the Operating system monopoly and can wait it out a long time even if xbox/zune are draining "petty cash"

Make en EU account, its as easy as making your first account accept this time you put in an EU address.
Pick a UK one, make it up, do whatever. Can do this for every country if you want to have Asia accounts also and access every PSN store

Imagine how much fun you would have if you took a break from this job and played some of those "aaa" titles.
Nintendo spent the least amount of marketing, made profit from a low end console from day 1, and created the one thing Sony/MS did not with all their power..

When i first saw Motorstorm I never thought of getting it because i am not much of a racing game fan.
But after i nabbed a copy for $20 and tried it... I was actually blown away how fun it is.
This has become more of a Party game at my house when i have guests then the Wii Tennis was.. which shocked me.
Like everyone knows, motorstom has no boundaries practically, like you can just about go anywhere on the map with hardly any invisible walls.

Let em work! We spend money, there is no fanboy when it comes to hard earned dollars.
No one is a fan of spending money with no perks of competition.
War sucks for the powers that be, but sometimes war is good for the lower people that want more like us.
Example: Let em all fight it out and copy each other, lower prices, and so on while the consumers like us reap the benefits.
Corps rip us off everyday to stay in business while we spend to have their products, but when there is competition... the game field is a war and the little man sometimes comes out with more then he expected.

Well i doubt this is happening anytime soon no matter what article gets posted about this.
But as for them scraping the 360 when a new one does come out, I bet they would, just like they did the original xbox (for the most part)
Unless of course after another year xbox 360 goes strong in other markets then North america.
PS3 is(and proven) to be a seriously high quality player

Eventually shooter games will start playing themselves out and become like MMO's, but there is room for more, and THIS one has serious potential in my opinion to be a hit.
