i actually enjoyed ODST and im not a halo fan.
gears of war, alan wake, dead space,fallout I dont think many little kids like those games...
Also i really enjoyed L.A noire and it was one of my favorite games ever, Right up to the final few cases where my interest in the game dropped completely.
Then when think about the game after finishing it all i can think about was how i never screwed up.

Marcus fenix and Gordon freeman are far from anouying.
Freeman doesnt say anything because you are freeman so adding a voice to the character takes away from the experience.
Marcus isnt anouying because he is the team leader in a battle to stop the end of the world, If he starts allowing emotion to take over he will lose his ability to control a squad. Its like in war movies where the squad leader acts brave to give the others hope.
Look at this picture and tell me the helghast eyes dont look the same.
