Why did Microsoft spend money on a show right before E3?
To show off hardware. They spent alot of money to show off the console. They barely showed software. Why? Well what are they going to show in there E3 conference?
They literally said at the end of the reveal, Stay tuned because E3 is where we will reveal everything.
They have 15 exclusives to reveal to release within a year.
8 of them are CONFIRMED to be core games that may have minor kinect functionality similar to Mass effect 3.
We already know 4 of them

That leaves

All confirmed to be working on CORE games for the X1

Im waiting for E3. But il probably get both and use one as my main console and get exclusives for the other.
Just like i did this generation, 360 was main console Ps3 was for exclusives.

We keep hearing conflicting story's about Independent gaming on the 360.
Some say it was awful some say it was great.
The 360 has a dedicated marketplace for Indie games and there seems to be all sorts of games on that.

i have 29 friends on Xbox. I play with 5 of them.
They showed off what the console can do without game.
E3 is for the games, They said this at the very beginning of show.
They said they have 15 games to show off before the console comes out. 8 of which are new ips. We have already seen one by Remedy which was a CORE game. So whats the issue.
At least Microsoft showed the actually console.

Also there is a distinct lack of variety in this game. We really haven't seen what else you can actually do.
What are the missions like? Is the exploration limited to the ground? Are the other vehicles such as helicopters, Planes?
The game looks extreamly linear and i think it will get really repetitive.

You mean like the copy and pasted Uncharted 3 mutliplayer that was EXACTLY the same as Uncharted 2 and didnt feature any of the improvements that were in the single player.
The best Multiplayer game this year will be GTA V, GTA IV is still one of the most played games on Live, PSN and steam.

Nah the Xbox was in the house being played.
