It is really hard to find the original users who bought the system in the first place.
If sony tried to send free movies, a lot of people would get gyped if they had bought their ps3 used or with cash since it would be hard for Sony to find the original owners. Sony however rewards PSP users who registered and send out free demo's UMD's. Granted, its not better than a dvd/blu0ray but it is the thought that counts.

As far as fanboys go, I know every fanboy deep down in their heart doesn't want the console competition to go away. The smart ones know that games in general compete against each other and every game tries to raise the bar to a new level against its predecessors and similar games.
Take Goldeneye, Halo1 beat it (fun factor), then came time splitters, etc.
I love competition because it brings innovation ("newness") which brings smiles to the gamers that ...

wrestling is fake and it sucks. ITs a soap opera for men.
Wrestling games however are "pimp status" because of the customizable creations. Those are my favorite features. Creat-a-figher in any game is cool.
Then agains Gamespy didn't play the ps3 version.
Its fun and all but the "draw in and rendering" stinks.
Its cool having a game with minimal loading but EA needed to hide it behind smoke and mirrors. Reminds me of GTa for the PS2 which had no loading but had tons of pop ups and rendering of half buildings/bridges.
This is next gen, perhaps EA could realize that one day when they finally incorporate quality in their games.
