The sad thing is that most games that are just single player don't sell too well nowadays(not mario of coarse). I thought what made the halo series really shine was that the game had alot of replay. The only downside now is that alot of developers are starting to putting in crappy multiplayer modes that actually do more damage on the reviews scores.
Case in point:
Stranglehold, The Darkness, Two Worlds.
I hope I am wrong too, because for a PSN title this ones seems really unique.
Actually, Resistance had better single player missions than COD4 IMHO. COD4 Multiplayer is way better though and resistance multi is alright if you don't mind dieing immediately every time you respawn.
Insomniac should really kill the game off and put more people to work on the sequel its been a year already :)

No offense, I played Assassins Creed and I saw why the game got the low scores from some sites.
The game was clearly rushed and lots of glitches.
(Btw I got it on the 360, because the PS3 was even worse)
The game has great innovation but falls short. Mario Galaxy may be milked but it had tons of innovation too.Nintendo may milk the franchisees but with each new outing of a popular Nintendo Series, there is atleast 1 new gamplay n concept...

Did reviewers actually rate the whole package besides just what was on the disc? From the sounds of it most reviewers ignored the "instruments" completely. Heck you can hum through the songs in the microphone sections of the game...
Haze Demo still might come, if anything you should of mentioned how Ps3 fans got shafted by the missing Lair Demo. and you are right 2.0 didn't meet expectations so you know what?

THese games will be emulated so there is a chance of some games running shoddy. The Reason the Wii has so much content is because all of the games are easy to emulate and low on memory.
Remember Xbox games are on DVDs which some take over 5 gigs on the disc for. Good idea though but I doubt many 3rd party developers will jump at the idea since all of the games have to be emulated on a individual basis taking up resources.
Some other site also stated they they played the 360 build already.
I think it's bullsh*t and that they have been slowly working on the 360 alongside the ps3 version. When you think about it, Even Sony said it would be easier to post a ps3 to a 360 than visa versa. Q2 for 360 users despite it being probaly done in Febuary or March.
Then again, What about Gears of War 2? The typical 360 owner will be excited with GeOW2 than Unreal Tournament 3 because of familiar...
