I’m in same boat- I got the game on sale but waiting for the next gen patch.
I heard to eliminate bugs and poor performance that random NPCs were drastically minimized.
Bibs - you’re way of thinking is not progressive and is more regressive.
Parents can remove the console and phones and bring them back as need be.
Automatic- what you’re doing right is 100% Schiling.

Agree - Sony also pitched Gow ragnarak and Horizon zero dawn 2 as a “launch Window game”
Granted, Covid did happen so they get somewhat of a pass just like the new Halo.

I believe there should be an easy mode, but at the same time if you want to 100% the trophies and achievements you should play on normal or higher.
Not gonna lie. Loved blood borne, played the heck out of demon souls and dark souls on ps3.
Played dark souls 2 remastered on ps5, and was 2 minutes from breaking controller. I got soft.

It’s like when people push a movie and say the ending so great but yeah the first 110 minutes are a slog.

I get the point of the article, despite not having a current gen system, but still it hasn’t even been a year yet since ps5/xsx has come out.
If I was Sony/Microsoft - there’s no point in having a true “next gen” system seller yet if demand is far outpacing supply.
