The only apps I really use on any console is Hulu, Vudu and crunchy roll an thats about it. It seems like every channel wants to make a app, which means you have to sign up for another thing.

PS3 can handle any size of a hard drive as long it meets everything else. I run a 1tb in my and might buy this PS3 to setup a 4tb hard drive in it.
Well outside of it, you can use a 3.5 Sata hard drive. Just more of a pain feeding the cable into the PS3.

Its not a shock that games will look better in one or two years. It gives developers plenty of time to learn there limits, plus make new engines for the games.
Look at the starting games for PS3 and 360. They don't look as near as good as games are now.
